Star Trek Academy | Season One
I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with Costume Designer Avery Plewes, Assistant Costume Designer James Bolton, and the rest of the costume team on Starfleet Academy to develop a new tactical suit. My task was to create multiple identical suits capable of fitting a wide range of body types. Without access to actor 3D scans, I adapted 2D paper patterns into 3D models, then 3D printed, molded, and cast the final costume components.

Starfleet Magnetic Boots
Another exciting challenge was developing a set of magnetic boots for a spacewalk sequence. The design called for an 'auto-closing' mechanism where the boots buckled as the actor stepped into them (enhanced through VFX) and illuminated green or red based on their contact with the set surface. I designed and 3D modeled the boots in Rhino, after which the costume team 3D printed, molded, and cast the final pieces.
